At Nossa Fruits, we work directly with local cooperatives such as COOPREM and CAEPIM.
Our partner cooperatives play a key role in maintaining the quality and ethics of our production chain. We take great care to provide a healthy and respectful working environment, promote the economic independence of the women who work there, and eradicate all child labor. These partnerships help preserve the Amazon rainforest while providing economic opportunities for local communities.
Fair for Life certification for more humane trade
The Fair For Life label, awarded by the ECOCERT group, guarantees fair and responsible trade. This certification requires minimum purchase volumes calculated based on production costs, fair compensation through multi-year contracts, a minimum price, and a purchase price 5% higher than that of the organic market. In other words, this label promotes more humane trade, placing producers' well-being at the center of its concerns.
5% of the total purchase price of each product is paid into a development fund intended to finance social and environmental projects within the harvesting communities. This helps support local initiatives, such as improving school infrastructure and preserving biodiversity.
